I appreciate what you are saying (and the interview is great), but to say 'with no connections' is not exactly true. They mention networking 3 times on their list and obviously it is core to their success. So they had connections. They didn't start with connections, but most people don't. You could have called your article 'How to Break Into the Film industry as a Toddler' and then said 'grow up'.

Truth is, you need to network, you need to have connections and you need to physically be in a place where you have some network, connections or support (that doesn't need to be or have to be Hollywood, but it has to be somewhere!).

All that aside, I'm a long-time reader (before the days of being able to be a follower!). Your stuff is inspiring.
